Yolanda Perdomo has experience in both the public and private sectors, and is an expert in the promotion and distribution of tourist destinations. She has been Deputy Minister of Tourism of the Government of the Canary Islands and Managing Director of Promotur, the public company in charge of tourism promotion in the Canary Islands. During this time he was responsible for the execution and supervision of communication campaigns and tourism promotion, strategic plans, loyalty campaigns and the creation of product clubs, with the aim of specializing and differentiating the destination through its tourist resources. With InnovaTurismo, Yolanda was in charge of the implementation of tourism projects for the private sector. She has also been director of the BungalowsClub reservation portal, as well as Director of Business Development at Tourism Revolution Ecosystem (TRE). Currently she is also professor of the Master in Tourism and Public Administration, coordinated from Turespaña and the National Institute of Public Administration, as well as the Executive Master in Innovation, Marketing and Tourism Efficiency (eMITur) of ESCOEX International Business School. Born in Lanzarote, Canary Islands, Yolanda has a degree in International Economics from the American University of Paris, a degree in Tourism from the ULPGC and a university expert in European Union from UNED, in collaboration with the Jean Monnet Chair in Policies and Collaboration the European Union. He has lived for five years in France, one in the United States, three in Italy and now works in Madrid. He speaks English, French and Italian. She was part of the Tourism Advisory Council of the city of Vienna during the formation of its 2020 strategy and is Doctor Honoris Causa by the University of Tourism and Business Sciences of Skopje, Republic of Macedonia.
